Welcome! Here you’ll find podcasts and interviews I’ve been featured on: conversations about faith, family, motherhood, nursing, coaching, and the journey of rebuilding a life with more peace, purpose, and freedom. Some of these episodes include my personal story and family experiences, including difficult seasons we’ve walked through. My hope is that these conversations offer encouragement, wisdom, and hope for anyone navigating healing, growth, and a fresh start. Each episode is a little different, but they’re all rooted in real life and real hope.
Founder & CEO
Mandy and Matt Horne have experienced A LOT of transition in their nearly 25 years of marriage. From several moves to adoption to working in ministry to starting a business, they have experienced the joys and challenges of the different seasons of life God has brought them through.
In our conversation you'll hear:
-
How God has held them close and how they have clung to him through difficult transitions
-
How they took on roles and responsibilities they might have never dreamed of depending on the season they were in
-

Caregiving rarely color‑codes itself on our calendars. One day you’re navigating an adoption that looks nothing like the tidy plans you imagined; the next day, you’re juggling a teen’s complex needs alongside aging parents in the hospital. Mandy Horne, a registered nurse and board‑certified health and wellness nurse coach, joins me to share how a late autism diagnosis reframed years of confusion, opened doors to therapies, and restored hope for her family.
We talk about the difference a diagnosis can make—not as a label to hide behind, but as a key to access care, educate a village, and reset expectations. Mandy shares the hard parts without flinching: sleepless nights, aggressive moments where her husband shouldered the physical load, and the invisible cost of running on empty. Then we trace the surprising arc of her son’s senior year, where supervised medication changes and a clear call toward ministry sparked a transformation. His YouTube and TikTok outreach is growing fast, and together they’ve launched “Jesus and Autism,” a candid space for families hungry for encouragement and truth.
Threaded through every chapter is a simple practice: surrender beats striving. We trade perfection for flexible habits—micro‑devotions, worship on the go, and five‑minute breath prayers that fit real life. We explore how to build a supportive church community, why “savor the ordinary day” is a lifeline, and how grace for yourself can be the pivot that keeps a home steady. If you’ve felt sandwiched between generations, if you’re waiting on clarity, or if you need language to explain what your family carries, this story offers both practical steps and a steadying peace.

I'm excited to introduce you to Mandy - who brings a unique perspective to the conversation today! Mandy has a nursing background of 25 years, and as the wife of a pastor, has homeschooled their two now grown children. And having walked through some of the challenging seasons that mid-life can bring, Mandy now coaches faith-based women who are in similar places in their journey.
Let's listen to Mandy's story now and see if she can perhaps help you in a time of transition in your world!

In this episode of Forgiveness Is for YOU, my guest, Mandy Horne shares how a medical crisis became the turning point that exposed an abusive relationship, revealed unexpected protection, and opened the door to a new calling in nursing.
While recovering in the ICU, Mandy experienced both betrayal and God's grace through family, friends, strangers, and quiet moments where Christ made His presence known. We talk about how trauma clarifies truth, how forgiveness does not require denial, and how freedom often begins when we listen to what pain is teaching us.
This episode is for anyone who has faced illness, emotional abuse, or family dysfunction and wondered whether healing and purpose were still possible on the other side

I had the joy of being a guest on the Peaceful Presence Podcast with Olivia Figuered, and this conversation was such a meaningful one.

We also talked about:
✨ rebuilding your foundation with God
✨ identity in Christ
✨ the connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual health

What if the stress you feel isn’t just in your mind… but in your body too?
In this episode of Positive Solutions 4 Life, I’m joined by Mandy Horne, a registered nurse, holistic nurse, and wellness coach who helps midlife Christian women find peace and purpose during life transitions.

- Simple faith-centered practices that calm the nervous system
- Finding peace by asking God for the next step instead of the whole plan
One of my favorite reminders from Mandy:

Changing Seasons...
I had the honor of being a guest on The Connected Mom Podcast with Becky Harling for an episode called Changing Seasons.
We had such a meaningful conversation about the reality of life transitions as moms and women of faith- the joy, the grief, the surrender, and the questions that often come with a new season.
We talked about:
✨ empty nest and the emotions that come with it
✨ changing friendships and grieving what shifts
✨ adoption, motherhood, and holding both joy and sorrow
✨ moving through difficult transitions with Christ as your anchor
✨ how to step confidently into the next season when God is clearly doing something new
I also shared a little of my own story- from homeschooling and ministry life to launching coaching in a season when the Lord was stirring my heart toward what was next.
If you’re in a changing season and need the reminder that God is faithful even when life feels unfamiliar, I think this conversation will encourage you.
